Our approach to getting measurement listings in Revit

At Deltana Engineeringa we use different tools to develop our tasks as Quantity Surveyors. Our technical team specialized in measurements (Bill of Quantities) uses these resources for collaborations during the tender phase and for subcontracting in the execution phase.

These tools range from the method of making planning tables and exporting them directly to Excel using plugins or Dynamo to doing everything integrated directly with the RIB Spain Cost-it module for REVIT.

In this video, we explain how to take measurements from the model directly with this tool in civil engineering projects, associating, exporting, adding temporary measurements and finally adding auxiliary elements with the Paint tool.

Being a more effective way of having the models linked to a Presto sheet, being able to associate parameters and measure the same object several times without having to go from table to table.

With these tools, the Deltana Engineering team carries out the measurement tasks in support of the technical office of the project or work, complementing other supports with which we link the measurements to other services such as BIM modeling, updating of said models, extraction and elaboration of executive plans (Shop drawings), Bar Bending Schedule (BBS), structural analysis and Project Planning which allows us to have a holistic vision of the project.
