Since 6 years ago, when Deltana Engineering entered the KSA market, the activity has been constant and sustained due to the trust of our clients and the quality demonstrated in our services.
At this time, this market presents us with new challenges in avant-garde mega projects such as the Red Sea Project, the most ambitious luxury tourism project in the world, or the NEOM, an innovative project to develop a futuristic city with linear design and maximization criteria of energy efficiency and sustainability that will make a desert area habitable, "it is about the construction of the first cognitive city, where world-class technology is fed with data and intelligence to interact seamlessly with its population" according to Joseph Bradley, NEOM Technology & digital CEO.
However, these new challenges would be inaccessible without the experience developed by the Deltana Engineering team and our track record in previous experiences such as the Riyadh Metro, one of the most ambitious projects with the most advanced design of its kind, which makes it the most modern urban transport in the world today.
The Riyadh Metro project has also been the largest that we have undertaken, supporting different lines and collaborating with two of the three consortiums in charge of the works. On line 3 we gave our support to the ArRiyadh New Mobility Consortium (ANM) with the participation of companies such as Salini Impregilo (currently Webuild) and Idom, among others. On line 6 we collaborate with the FAST consortium of companies, led by the Spanish construction group FCC and including partners Samsung C&T, Alstom, Strukton, Freyssinet Saudi Arabia, Atkins, Typsa and Setec.
Currently we continue to collaborate with the works technical office in different engineering tasks, such as the preparation of As build plans, shop drawings and architectural plans for the project's huge Depot.
Deltana Engineering provides support services that go from the bidding phase, with extensive experience in multiple projects in the area of extraction and quantity control (QTO), through complementary services in both 2D and BIM design, modeling from point cloud, structural calculation of temporary or secondary elements, preparation of technical notes and justifications, etc. up to the execution phase with the support to the works technical office in the preparation of shop drawings, detailing and breakdown of steel (BBS), control of quantities on site, As built plans and updating of models.
