In one of the latest tenders launched for this project, three spanish companies are competing: Ferrovial, OHLA and Aldesa, which are in different consortiums formed with the participation of other international companies.
This is the contract for the construction of the main line in Latvia of the Rail Baltica high-speed rail project. This tender is estimated to be worth more than 1,500 million euros. This strategic project for the European Union is one of the largest infrastructure initiatives being developed in Europe, with an investment of some 5,800 million euros, in which other Spanish groups such as Renfe, Ineco and Prointec are already participating.
A total of five consortia have been shortlisted to compete in the final phase for the construction of Rail Baltica's main line in Latvia. The different consortia are made up as follows:

Ferrovial through its Polish subsidiary Budimex and in alliance with France's Eiffage and Italy's Rizzani de Eccher.

OHLA, together with Turkey's Gülermak and Aldesa, controlled by China Railway Construction Corporation

Railway Construction Corporation, with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation and Latvia's TEK Baltic.

Italy's Webuild and France's NGE and TSO.

Turkey's IC Ictas and Dogus.
Deltana Engineering, which has been collaborating on this ambitious project since late 2019 in the Master Design phase and is currently doing so in the execution, in support of the technical office of the work, expects to continue its participation in the Main Line.
Our experience has allowed us to participate in support related to quantity takeoff, detailing of reinforcing steel, shop drawings, updating and enrichment of BIM models, as-built drawings, among others.
